Molendorp
A new layout, set in the Netherlands, by the owner of Beaulieu-les-mines and Hirson Bellevue.
Molendorp is imagined to be in Holland, South East of Eindhoven, on a metre gauge cross border line into Belgium (ZNOB), and is set in the 1930’s. The Belgian SNCV made good use of Railcars for passenger workings and big steam tram locos for goods. The Dutch steam tramways tended to use small steam tram locos with bogie coaches.
Molendorp means Milltown and there is a windmill and a steam powered mill in small old town, with its spacious public gardens. There are workings from and to the SNCV across the border at Maaseik.
