Ashwood End
A layout built with Peco track and Metcalfe buildings within a small space, to demonstrate the possibilities of the modelling hobby. It provides access to a wagon works at ground level. The lower level includes a small engine shed and a couple of carriage sidings. Trains reflect what might have been seen in the area during the mid to late 1930s, although the appearance of a Southern Railway locomotive on a transfer goods is possibly “modeller’s license”
