Besses O' Th Barn Bridge

The model is a static display of one of the longest railway bridges built in the UK to cross the line of a motorway. The bridge was completed 50 years ago this year (2019), and the model is set about three years later when the M62 motorway, together with the local road bridge, had been constructed beneath it. The model demonstrates the huge scale of railway work that arose from the construction of our Motorways.
