Hirson Bellevue
The model portrays the terminus of a small branch line from Hirson in Northern France, and is set in the 30’s. The village has a petanque (boules) court. Other facilities include the station building; small factories; cemetery; shop; cafe/patisserie; hotel/bar; smallholding and a smithy. There is also a viewpoint (belvedere) accessed by a lift.
There is an industrial area up the line where the junction is laid out the ‘wrong’ way and all trains from there have to come into Bellevue to reverse. All steam locos are fitted with skirts as tram locos, and there are vintage steam and diesel railcars.
There are some workings from the SNCV across the border in Belgium.
