Children's O gauge clockwork train set
One of our members is a teacher at a local school. To foster enthusiasm amongst his pupils and encourage them into the hobby he constructed a Hornby O gauge clockwork layout loosely based on a central LNER theme for them to operate. It features a range of buildings from a variety of makers. This hands-on layout not only encourages members of the public to relive their past but also tries to get the next generation to experience the magic of clockwork trains.
